What do we mean by resident?

Resident or Residents

Means a New Zealand citizen; a holder of a current and valid New Zealand residence class or permanent resident visa, student visa or Essential Skills (Skills Shortage) work visa; an Australian passport holder permanently residing in New Zealand; and:

1. with unrestricted right of entry into New Zealand;  
2. with access to long-term medical care in New Zealand (not including Reciprocal Health Agreements);  
3. who has a permanent New Zealand residential address; and  
4. agree to be repatriated, if required, back to New Zealand under this insurance
